Launderpay launches “points for kindness” donation program
LaunderPay has partnered with LaundryCares Foundation to launch the “Points for Kindness” donation initiative.
LaundryCares Foundation is a charitable foundation (501c3) of the Coin Laundry Association whose mission is to provide free laundry services and early literacy to those in need. LaundryCares was awarded the prestigious Rubenstein award from the Library of Congress for impact and innovation in a national literacy program in 2024.
Within the LaunderPay platform, any merchant who activates their customer loyalty program will automatically enroll into the Points for Kindness donation program. All laundry orders will add a $1.00 donation at checkout. Customers who choose to donate will receive a 1.5x accelerator in reward points for their laundry order. Customers who choose to remove the donation will receive 1x in reward points. Merchants will have the option to match the donation so that the customer and merchant both contribute $0.50 each.
As part of launching this partnership, LaunderPay is offering every merchant who signs up this month 6 subscription-free months on their platform. The first 5 merchants will receive POS hardware (tablet + card reader) for free and every merchant after will receive 50% off the POS hardware. This is a maximum savings of $2,000 that could be spent on building or enhancing your laundry business.
Linking customer rewards to a donation program is designed to benefit both merchants and customers. Merchants can boost customer engagement, enhance loyalty, and drive repeat business, while customers earn valuable points on their purchases, all while supporting meaningful causes and making a positive impact. Connect with LaunderPay today to learn more about this initiative.
